Greens Mental Health Policy Released

Victorians need speedy and uncomplicated access to mental health services.

"Users of mental health services have limited access to primary care due to a lack of emergency care, specialist care and rehabilitation services," said spokesperson Colleen Hartland, launching the Greens Mental Health Policy. "No effective system has been put in place to provide high quality care to help people with mental illness live productively in the community. We also need to increase mental health resources and work to de-stigmatise mental illness so that people in need of help will seeking treatment earlier," said Colleen Hartland.
