Let’s get tough on the causes of crime say the Greens - the Greens Justice Policy released
“When there is a lot of hype about being ‘tough on crime’, it might do us all well to stop, pause and take a breath” said Jim Reiher, the Greens spokesperson on Justice.

Releasing the Greens Justice Policy. “A better way to deal with crime is to be tough on the causes of crime! We need adequate funding of social support services, early intervention programs, and offender rehabilitation programs, to tackle crime at its root causes."
