No channel deepening and more freight on rail - the Greens Ports and

Victoria's future prosperity depends on a national policy for ports and freight, not an ecological disaster in Port Phillip Bay.

The Greens spokesperson for Ports and Freight, Sue Pennicuik, said we need to get much more freight on rail, and develop existing deep water ports, instead of churning up Port Phillip Bay. We need a freight-only express rail line linking the eastern states to get our freight strategy moving in the right direction."
