Justin Brumley is a wind energy engineer with Vestas, the largest wind turbine manufacturer in the world. Vestas have manufactured the turbines for enough installed generation capacity to provide the entire stationary energy requirements of Spain. Justin will talk about recent and future wind power development in Australia and around the world, and discuss the likely opportunities resulting from MRET in the local market.

David Millar has been working with Garrad Hassan as a Senior Consultant. Garrad Hassan is a leading authority in independent wind energy engineering consulting, specialising in resource assessment, wind farm design, computer simulation and research & development. David will give a technical overview on the processes requiring consideration in development of wind farms, from turbine design all the way through to commissioning and operation.

Daniel Wash is a Wind Analyst Engineer who has worked with Pacific Hydro since 2001, and will give an overview of Pacific Hydro projects. Presenting material chronicling the changing face of the Australian market over the last decade, he will explore some likely constraints and prospects for the future. Pacific Hydro are specialists in wind energy and hydro power development with successful projects in Australia, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
