- Ballarat Regional Council
- Covers Ballarat-Hepburn and Wimmera-Gariwerd branches (Northern Grampians, Pyrenees, Golden Plains, Hepburn, Ballarat and Moorabool local government areas)
- Central Highlands Region
- Currently covers no branches (Shires of Strathbogie, Mitchell, Mansfield, Murrindindi and The Rural City of Benalla)
- Central West Regional Council
- Covers Bendigo, Castlemaine and Macedon Ranges branches (Greater Bendigo, Central Goldfields, Mount Alexander and the Macedon Ranges Shire)
- Eastern Suburbs Regional Council
- Covers Boroondara, Whitehorse, Manningham-Warrandyte and Maroondah-Knox branches (Cities of Knox, Maroondah, Monash, Whitehorse, Manningham and Boroondara)
- Geelong region
- There are currently two branches - Geelong and Bellarine - but no Regional Council in the Geelong Region (City of Greater Geelong and Borough of Queenscliffe).
- Gippsland Regional Council
- Covers Central Gippsland, East Gippsland, South Gippsland and West Gippsland branches (Shires of East Gippsland, Wellington, Baw Baw, South Gippsland, Bass Coast and Latrobe City)
- Goulburn Valley Region
- Currently covers the Shepparton Branch (Shires of Moira and Campaspe and the City of Greater Shepparton).
- Mallee Sunraysia Region
- Covers Sunraysia branch (Shires of Gannawarra, Loddon, Buloke, Rural City of Mildura and Rural City of Swan Hill)
- Melbourne Regional Council
- Covers Melbourne branch (City of Melbourne)
- North East Regional Council
- Covers the Wangaratta/Alpine and Wodonga/Indigo Branches (Shires of Towong, Alpine, Indigo, Wangaratta and Wodonga City Council)
- Northeast Suburbs Regional Council
- Covers the Darebin branch (City of Darebin and City of Whittlesea)
- Northwest Metropolitan Regional Council
- Covers the Moreland branch (City of Hume and City of Moreland)
- Outer East Regional Council
- Covers the Casey-Cardinia-Dandenong, Lilydale, Dandenong Ranges and Upper Yarra Branches (Shires of Cardinia, Casey, Greater Dandenong and Yarra Ranges). The Healesville branch is also in this region but has been working mainly with the branches in the Yarra Plenty Regional Council on the 2006 State and 2007 Federal election campaigns.
- Southern Coastal Regional Council
- Covers Frankston and Two Bays branches (City of Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Shire)
- South West Regional Council
- Covers Otways and Warrnambool branches (Shires of Glenelg, Southern Grampians, Moyne, Corangamite, Colac-Otway, Surf Coast and the City of Warrnambool)
- Southern Suburbs and Bayside Region
- Covers the local government areas of Stonnington, Port Phillip, Bayside, Glen Eira and Kingston, in which there are four Greens branches: Stonnington, Port Phillip, Bayside-Glen Eira and Kingston. Doesn't currently have a regional council.
- Western Suburbs Regional Council
- Covers Brimbank, Hobsons Bay-Wyndham, Inner West and Moonee Valley branches (Melton Shire, City of Maribyrnong, City of Brimbank, City of Wyndham, City of Hobsons Bay and City of Moonee Valley)
- Wimmera Region
- Covers the Shires of Hindmarsh, West Wimmera, Yarriambiack, Ararat and Rural City of Horsham, but at present there are no active Greens branches in these areas, and thus no Regional Council.
- Yarra Regional Council
- Covers Yarra branch (City of Yarra, in Melbourne's inner northern and eastern suburbs)
- Yarra Plenty Regional Council
- Covers Diamond Valley and St Andrews and District branches (Nillumbik Shire and City of Banyule)
